The Setup
Everyone is furious about the leaks. Fair enough. But the leak is not the disease, it is the fever. Underneath sits a system that decided one morning and one paper should settle your seat, your degree, your salary and roughly your entire adult life. Nobody proved that works. We do it because there are millions of us and almost no chairs. The exam is not there to teach you anything. It is queue management with a pencil.
Read that again. Not one of those numbers involves a leaked paper. Seal every question in a vault tomorrow and not a single one of them moves. This is the system running exactly as designed.

The Blanks
Every leak gets a committee, and every committee gets to work on the lock. Better printing, biometrics, CCTV, online papers. All fine. All aimed at the fever, never the disease. These are the questions about the disease. They have been asked for years and the bubbles are still empty.
Why should one morning, once a year, decide an entire career?

Every leak comes with the same line. Someone stands up, says they take full responsibility, and then not one damn thing changes. Taking responsibility is supposed to mean doing something after you say the words. Strange idea, I know.
And even if they nail the lock shut tomorrow, the same twenty-three lakh kids will still be fighting over the same one lakh seats. That is not a security problem. That is a design problem, and it is a genuinely stupid design, defended mostly by people who never have to sit it.
Fix the lock if you like. Then fix the damn building.
